Transplant Guide

Make everyday a Happy Garden Day with plantup-za.

This guide runs you through a no stress, no mess method of transplanting.

A good soil foundation makes the difference between thriving long term success and disappointing failure.

We’ll share our Plantup-za (PUZA) potting soil method.

Pest control starts with healthy soil.
We’ll show you how to regenerate problematic capeflats urban sand.
We’ve been using this method since 2012, and the difference is a lifesaver for food gardening.

The actual transplanting takes a few minutes.

Members will see details explaining:

– our tried and tested methods.
– guidelines regarding:
Transplanting time of day,
Soil preparation logistics,
etc…

We grow plants, food and resilience.

N.B. We’ve discontinued the “compostable” packaging. After a year and a half the cornstarch film has not broken down in the least – very, very disappointed in our supplier’s false promises.

So; until we find a local importer of trustworthy compostables, the best we can do is ask you to kindly rinse and re-use the bag or send it back to us to be re-purposed.

We make and sell garden growbags.
We provide food growing edu-training.
