Description

Anethum graveolens: Dill is a fragrant herb in the Umbelliferae family (Carrot and root.) Dill flowers attract beneficial insects and pollinators. It is believed to have originated in the Mediterranean and is similar to fennel.

Growth: Morning sun, afternoon shade. Likes in well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Protect from strong winds. Long taproots need a deep pot, see our growbag range.
Height: 60-90cm
Spread: 30cm May need support staking.
Grow as an annual for leaf herbs and biennial for harvesting flowers & seed spice.
